With offices in New Haven and New London, Connecticut, Ryan & Ryan, LLC dedicates its practice to the representation of employers throughout Connecticut and the United States in a wide range of industries, including banking, insurance, advertising, health care, construction, manufacturing, technology, hospitality, financial services, professional services, etc. We also represent municipalities, boards of education, educational institutions, associations and other not-for-profit organizations. Over the years, we have successfully represented over one hundred and fifty employers in both the private and public sector.

While our practice has the experience and depth found in labor and employment groups in large law firms, we pride ourselves in always putting our clients first. We have the skill and expertise to solve difficult labor and employment problems with practical, cost-effective, and timely advice. Unlike many law firms, our advice is always based upon the best interests of our client – not how much the client can generate in revenue for our firm. By never deviating from this principled approach, we have developed long-term relationships with our clients.

Ryan & Ryan, LLC represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law including litigation. Our familiarity with the legal issues and procedures in a wide variety of employment-related settings has allowed us to assist clients in their ability to defend and assert a broad range of claims, including those related to wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, employee benefits, unfair competition and trade secrets, among others. We have represented many employers in connection with litigation in state and federal courts, administrative hearings before the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, workers’ compensation and unemployment compensation boards, and in unfair labor practice proceedings before both the National and State Boards of Labor Relations.

We also assist employers in grievance and interest arbitration, and contract negotiations. Additionally, we provide clients with counseling on day-to-day workplace issues and offer training services to aid in the development of more productive workforces, all in an effort to avoid the time and expense associated with litigation.
